Super timely and helpful. The 3rd point in particular, about throwing in a negative frame. And I especially appreciated your suggesting and reminding me to experiment with it and see how that works. Great stuff!

Thanks Dave. I don't know about you but like I said in the video, I tried to stay away from the negative stuff for so many reasons (even though I can be great at being negative). But through experimentation, I finally found ways to make it feel supportive and not manipulative while at the same time being effective.

This all makes total sense. Even the negative language part. If someone's life or business were perfect they wouldn't be looking for help. I think the negative language is the problem they're struggling with but you also let them know you can help them with it with your offer/webinar/whatever. You've shown you understand their problem AND you have a solution. My 2 cents. :)

Yes. Effectively, you are meeting them where they're at. But again, you can use that same process to manipulate which I don't recommend. I suspect however, so many of us in the helping professions have seen that creep factor so many times that we don't want to look anything like it. So we slip into black and white thinking and say "no negativity ever."
